Shopify caches rates per address
When Shopify has quoted shipping for an address, it reuses that quote for subsequent checkouts to the same address rather than asking the app again. Your rule change is live. You’re just not being shown a fresh calculation.Other things that look like caching
If a genuinely fresh address still shows the old behaviour, work through these. The rule didn’t save
The rule form’s Save button stays disabled until the rule has a name, a priority, and at least one condition. It’s possible to make an edit, be unable to save, and navigate away. Check: reopen the rule and confirm your change is actually there.Products need re-syncing
If your change involved Product Tag, Type, Title, Barcode, or Compare-at Price, and you also changed those values in Shopify, the app is still using its old synced copy. Fix: Settings → Products → Sync Now. Note that auto-sync covers only newly created products — edits to existing products need a manual sync.Zones need re-syncing
If you added or renamed a zone in Shopify, sync zones from Settings → Shipping Zones.A customization is overriding the result
Your rate may be calculating correctly and then being hidden or renamed downstream. Check: temporarily deactivate your customizations and retest. See Shipping Customizations Not Working.Still stuck?
