A discount with **no conditions** applies to every order. Once you add a condition, choose whether the order must match **All conditions** or **Any condition**. Shipping discounts have a single list of attributes. There are no [parameter sets](/ai-tools/different-parameter-sets-for-conditions) like in customizations, so any of the attributes below can be combined in one discount. ## Available attributes | Group | Attribute | Operators | | - | - | - | | Cart | **Cart Subtotal** | Numeric comparisons | | Cart | **Cart Quantity** | Numeric comparisons | | Cart | **Cart Weight** | Numeric comparisons | | Product | **Product Tag** | Equals, Not equals | | Product | **Product Collection** | Equals, Not equals | | Product | **Product Vendor** | Equals, Not equals, Contains, Does not contains, Includes in list, Not includes in list | | Product | **Product Title** | Equals, Not equals, Contains, Does not contains, Includes in list, Not includes in list | | Product | **Product Price** | Numeric comparisons, Is empty, Is not empty | | Customer | **Customer Tag** | Equals, Not equals | | Shipping address | **Country Code** | Equals, Not equals, Contains, Does not contains, Includes in list, Not includes in list | | Shipping address | **Province / State Code** | Equals, Not equals, Contains, Does not contains, Includes in list, Not includes in list | | Other | **Always** | True | Numeric comparisons are Equals, Not equals, Greater than, Less than, Greater than or equal, and Less than or equal. **Product Tag**, **Customer Tag**, and **Product Collection** can each be used in **only one condition** per discount. To match several tags or collections, list them in that one condition, separated by commas. ## Cart conditions * **Cart Subtotal** — the order value, in your store currency. When a customer checks out in another currency, it's converted before the comparison, so `75` always means 75 in your store currency. * **Cart Quantity** — the total number of items in the cart. * **Cart Weight** — the total weight, in your store's weight unit. Product weights aren't converted between units. If some products have their weight entered in a different unit from your store's, Cart Weight will be off for carts that contain them. ## Product conditions * **Product Tag** — enter one or more tags, separated by commas. *Equals* matches a product that has **any** of the tags. *Not equals* matches a product that has **none** of them. * **Product Collection** — enter collection **IDs**, not names, separated by commas. See [How to Find the ID of a Product Collection](/finding-collection-and-rule-ids). * **Product Vendor** and **Product Title** — text matches are case-sensitive. For *Includes in list*, separate values with semicolons: `Acme;Globex`. * **Product Price** — the price of one unit of the product, in your store currency. ### How the cart is evaluated For each product condition you also choose how much of the cart must satisfy it: | Option | Meaning | | - | - | | **At least one product meets the condition** | Any single product matching is enough. | | **All products meet the condition** | Every product in the cart must match. | | **Cart has exactly specified quantity** | Matching products total exactly N units. | | **Cart has more than specified quantity** | Matching products total more than N units. | | **Cart has not more than specified quantity** | Matching products total N units or fewer. | | **Cart has more than specified total price** | Matching products are worth N or more in total (price × quantity). | | **Cart has not more than total price** | Matching products are worth less than N in total. | The total-price options let you base a discount on how much the customer spends **on certain products**, not on the whole cart. For example: free shipping when the customer spends 100 or more on items tagged `bundle`. ## Customer conditions **Customer Tag** — enter one or more tags, separated by commas. *Equals* matches a customer who has **any** of the tags. Customer tags are only known when the customer is **logged in**. A guest has no tags, so *Equals* never matches a guest and *Not equals* always does. ## Shipping address conditions * **Country Code** — two-letter codes such as `US`, `GB`, or `AU`. * **Province / State Code** — Shopify's province codes, such as `CA` or `ON`. For *Includes in list*, separate codes with semicolons: `CA;NV;OR`. See [Country and Province Codes](/country-and-province-codes) for the full list. ## Always **Always** matches every order.
